Each year our children and young people participate in the VIRTUS education program, Empowering God's Children, through which parents, teachers, catechists, and youth ministers give children and young people the tools they need to protect themselves from those who might harm them."
  
  Here at St. Joseph's Parish, we are required to provide the VIRTUS education 2 times per year for all students under 18 years of age. As the parents you have the right to choose to be given the materials to teach this to your child at home or allow our catechists to teach this in the classroom.
